first_imgDinny McGinley confirmed today that the Department of Gaeltacht office on the Gaoth Dobhair Business Park will in the future be dealing with aspects of language planning schemes and support.A new sub-department will be set up in the office to deal with language planning, a requirement under the Gaeltacht Act 2012.Responsibility for schemes, grants and other areas will in the future be handled by Údarás na Gaeltachta – these had been the responsibility of the Dept of gaeltacht office.
