The Angels found two separate ways in which Suarez had been tipping his pitches. They were somewhat encouraged that he was able to correct one of them during Saturday’s game. He gave up four runs in four innings, but none in the last two.“Quite frankly I told him to stand in front of a mirror and do it in the hotel room when he’s traveling, just get it ingrained in his brain so he doesn’t have to think about it while he’s trying to execute pitches during the game,” Ausmus said.Suarez also had an issue with getting into trouble after there were two outs. He allowed opponents to hit .353 with an 1.193 OPS with two outs.“I think sometimes there’s a little bit of a letdown when you get to two outs and you’re almost out of the inning,” Ausmus said. “I don’t know if that’s the case with Suary, but you have to concentrate all the way through the end of the inning.
